Our daughter Breeya had a very rough start losing all motor function and reflexes from a severe brain bleed at birth. Amongst all the chaos and finally getting to bring her home from NICU, My husband and I were encouraged to look into feeding therapy to not only help Breeya but to also help “us” as her parents understand what exactly she needed.

The first day of therapy as her mom I was very nervous… nervous about what would be said, or how Breeya’s delays and disabilities would be addressed. The moment I met Neina she was like a beaming light bursting through the door and I couldn’t have been more relieved.

Neina was wonderful as she handled Breeya gently and so gracefully. Naturally getting her to do things I wasn’t comfortable trying yet myself. She did a wonderful job in making me feel comfortable trying new skills, never pushing us too fast but always challenging Breeya and I in excelling her feeding skills.

Through the many sessions we have had with Neina it is so sweet that she not only was Breeya’s therapist but also became a sweet friend! She is immensely passionate about what she does and extremely knowledgeable, always giving wonderful examples and easy take home activities to continue  practicing until we saw her next.

It was also always so comforting that Neina took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had after every one of our sessions. We are so very thankful that our precious Breeya continues to progress daily thanks to Neina and the wonderful staff at tubes to tables.
